How to Remove Engine Oil on Peugeot 208
We need to reach underneath the car, so you can put the car on the lift(if you have one), and you can park the car at the top of the ramps, or you can jack up the car. There could be an engine undershield on your car. You need to undo the screws and remove the undershield, if you have it on your car. There are a few images down there. Your oil pan should look like one of them.

If your car has 1.0 and 1.2 litre engines, your oil sump should be look like the image. Just remove the drain plug with a ratchet. The socket is probably 14mm.

If your car has 1.4 and 1.6 litre engines, your oil sump should be like this one. So not too much difference. The removal process of the plug is the same for all types of Peugeot engines.

After you remove the oil drain plug, please allow 10-15 minutes to drain it completely. Some people use an oil flasher, but I use it like every 50k miles.

Please install a new sealing washer to avoid oil leaks from the oil sump plug.

Then you can tighten up the drain plug. Please be careful to avoid waste oil spills, because it will be dangerous for enviroment and there could be oil stains on your driveway.
How to Remove the Oil Filter on the Peugeot 208
If your oil filter location is next to the oil sump, you can remove it easily. You can use two tools to remove the oil filter. The first one is an oil filter removal tool that you can find on amazon, Ebay or Halfords. This tool is made of plastic, rubber or metal chain. Both of them will work. The other option is a socket set for oil filters. It is like a huge socket set for metal oil filters. For 1.0 and 1.2 engines, please follow the pictures on how to remove the oil filter.

Before you install a new oil filter, you should apply a clean, tiny bit of engine oil to the rubber seal.

Then screw the new filter to the filter position. You can tighten it up by hand. Until here, the oil filter replacement for 1.0 and 1.2 engines. The next two images are for 1.4 and 1.6 engines. When you look at the engine, the oil filter location is on the right side of the engine between the battery and the engine. It has a black plastic cover.

The oil filter cover should be in the image. It is easy to locate. You can use the proper socket to remove the oil filter cover. There is a paper filter inside the cover. You need to replace that paper cover and also replace the rubber seal on the cover.

It is easy to install the new seal. You can do it by hand or use the screwdriver.

Then just tighten up the filter cover with the filter inside it. The torque is 25nm for the oil filter cover.
How to Refill the Engine Oil in the Peugeot 208
All engine types have an oil cap at the top of the engine. There is an oil icon on the cap. Remove the oil filler cap. I provide engine oil capacities for different engines. Please find your engine type and put the exact amount of oil. Those are factory numbers. After you refill the engine, run the engine for 5 minutes. Then turn it off and wait for a couple minute fir the oil settle, and the new oil filter will be completely full. Take off the oil dipstick and check your oil level. If your oil is lower than max when the engine is cold. You can add more oil as needed.
For 1.0 and 1.2 litre engines, can take 3 litre oil without oil filter replacement. With the oil filter replacement, the engine takes 3.25 litre oil.
For 1.4 and 1.6 litre engines, can take 4 litre oil without oil filter replacement. With the oil filter replacement, the engine takes 4.25 litre oil.
